Another lovely day in the Alps with some new powder and incredible weather conditions (Kaiserwetter). As it was before Christmas, the tracks were not very busy but nearly all tracks were already open.

Some days ago we started with another trip into the Alps as this was the night with the most falling stars in the whole year. So we basically arrived at 4 o’clock in the morning and stayed there for some time outside to take some pictures.

This blog post is dedicated to Istanbul Taksim area, as this area is a must see area for every visitor and also a very nice place for some street photography.

Some weeks ago we went back to the Alpes for a very short trip, only 2 days. As it was raining during our first day, we hoped to have better weather conditions the day after.

Lets start first with the Galata Tower which is very beautiful at night due to the interesting colourful lights at night. It is very busy there, that means to walk up to that tower, you’ll probably wait between 1-3 hours.

Highly recommended is a Bosphorus River tour to see Istanbul from the river side with the sunset in the backround. Pretty cold in November time, but worth to do at any time.

After visiting Haiga Sophia we went straight to Basilika reservoir, which is underneath the streets. Very dark but really worth to see.

Beginning of November we decided on short notice to visit Istanbul for some days. We were very lucky with the weather as there was sun all the days and also very warm in terms of temperature, especially when you consider, that it was already November.

Same landscape as previous post, but on a foggy day. This is also a beautiful view but I still prefer the clear sky view.
