During Christmas and New Years eve you will find Moscow – especially at night – covered in a very awesome light and decorated very well.

The Gum for example is highlighted with hundred of thousands of light bulbs to make sure you will recognize it as the nicest shopping mall in Moscow – at day and at night.

River is still frozen, so you can imagine how cold it was – especially during night.

When walk through the streets, hundreds of nicely decorated Christmas trees will cross your way, ecery corner has its own.

Our last night in Moscow ended up at the train station on our way to St. Petersburg, where w took the night train and shared an appartment with some other Russian people. Not very comfortable, but at the end we slept worse in the past…
