After 7,5 hours in that small Mini Van (it IS a MINI Van) with 19 persons, we finally arrived Luang Prabang. Please enjoy the pics below and I hope for you, that you never ride in a Mini Van with 19 persons…
So arrived at Luang Prabang after that horror trip, we decided for a guest house, which actually was a bit above Asian standard…
Asia for us means renting a bike. To be honest, everytime when we have been in Asia like Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, whatever, we rented a motorbike. The reason for that is that it’s much more enjoyable to drive a motorbike in Asias as it’s a fast way to drive, you get the smell of Asia, the sun on your skin, the dirt from the road and alway a place to park the bike. So here you go:
Here is the bamboo bridge, which is rebuilt a few times er year as this goes down quite often…
Another reason to wake up early is to watch the monks go through the streets and pick up some rice. Early means to get up at 4:30 am.
Very nice temples in Luang Prabang
And a fresh market:
Construction sites are alway worth to visit as there are different views of safety policy.
Another beautiful place to see is the Tad Sea Waterfall. You need to drive the boat there.
Tad Sea Waterfall. No water. Dry period.
Again some temples of Luang Prabang
And again the trustful bamboobridge. You should try it 🙂
After that beautiful city, that amazing culture and that beautiful people, we headed down to Hanoi in Vietnam, which actually was our next step in that Asia tour
