Cusco itself is very beautiful city with very old buildings and beautiful old town. Small stores everywhere and a lot of people on the street, selling Alpaca clothes, Coca leafs and other stuff.

Cusco is also the place to start a lot of journeys to some Inca places like Machu Picchu or into the mountains – like Rainbow Mountain – what you will see within the next blog posts.

We have been there in November – spring time in the southern hemisphere – but still very cold during night.

The next day started very early at 3 am in the morning with the climb up to Rainbow Mountain.
