Honestly, it is a hell of a fun driving with the motorbike and a backback through Asia; especially through Indonesia, cause there are absolutely no rules on the street. U can enter a roundabout from the left hand side, from the right hand side or just cross it straight over. It does not matter. So after 1.600 km with the motorbike, we thought it’s time to explore some more of the Indonesian islands and took the ferry to Lombok.

Arrived at south, we headed through an island, where more horses were on the street than cars or bikes

and finally took the speedboat to get to the Gili Islands

Now I am 31 years. Looking back to school, I had a broken leg with the age of 11. That’s it. No more broken bones or torn ligaments. Nothing. So I thought, at a really lovely place like the Gili Islands where you could go swimming in a clean and warm sea, where you have beautiful nature, friendly people, good cocktails – but no doctor or crushed ice – after 20 years it’s time to try it with a torn ligament. And that’s what I did.

So now you have 2 options: Going back to a „doctor“ (this means not Lombok, but Bali) or renting am damn bicycle, cause you can’t walk. Here we go with a bike:

Either you think, this is really a pain in the ass, with an injured leg at the end of the world, or calm down at some local bars. Here with an open stage for Rock Stars as well.

An also nice part of the story is our hotel. It was more a small house at the sea side

A good thing in Asia in general are the fruits – and fruit drinks. Everywhere mixed on the wait, completely fresh and cheap. Nothing else.
