After 22 hours of flying thousands of miles and a stop in Bangkok, we arrived finally early in the morning in lovely Vientiane, the capital of Laos. We checked a guesthouse with tripadvisor; to feel a bit like in Germany, we decided for the Bayern Guesthouse.

Another weekend trip was in early May to Dublin in Ireland. The idea for that trip was already quite old, but we needed some time to get a perfect flight from a time perspective.

Early March we spent a weekend in beautiful Lisboa. As weather was still not nice in Germany, we had a windy but very sunny sky in Lisboa. It was already around 20° C and clear sky.

Our last evening before we flew back home, we spent again in Havana as there was the international airport which we took to get home. The flight was quite late, thats why we had some time to find some nice oldtimers. And we found some…

Trinidad is well know because of different reasons. One for sure is the revolution. Another one are the cobbled streets. You can find them everywhere around the old city and downtown area.

Playa Larga in Kuba. Beginning and End. A place you have to visit. A place which is far away from tourism but not far away from a unique idyllique and special beach (besides Thailand… which still has the most impressive beaches and the most beautiful places of near-sea-landscape…)

Just arrived in the legendary Val de Vinales, we found our family owned guest house and decided to explore the landscape around us – although as there was so much rain.

Today we had breakfast again in Havanna, left our hotel, enjoyed again the amazing city and started slowly towards west – heading to Pina del Rio – to reach Vinales Valley before sunset.

And again La Habana, as there are plenty of beautiful places to see. Here again we start with the old town as the old town was always the place for us to start walking…
