We arrive in El Alto before lunch time; to be honest, we have visited a lot of cities, especially in Asia. And the traffic was really crowded in towns like Phnom Penh, Hanoi, Bangkok, etc. but in Asia the streets are empty compared to La Paz.

Another early morning today, we woke up at 4 am to reach Machu Picchu before noon.

As already explained, Cusco in Peru is a very good destination to travel around in Peru as there are so many things to see in the close area (approx 3-4 hours with car / bus).

Cusco itself is very beautiful city with very old buildings and beautiful old town. Small stores everywhere and a lot of people on the street, selling Alpaca clothes, Coca leafs and other stuff.

A couple of weeks ago we started with our South America trip, flying from Frankfurt to Sao Paulo and had the first stop in Lima / Peru. We only stayed there for one day as Peru has so many things to explore and Lima is just the point to enter Peru.
