We started around 9 o’clock pm with this train ride in Hanoi. So after a couples of Vietnam beer, we fall asleep and woke u quite late, something around 7-8 o’clock. That was actually the longest sleep we had during that journey 🙂

From Hanoi, Tam Coc is not that far away; that means, you can go there by bus, which means a couple of hours one way. And that means, getting up early again…

After having spent some time in Hanoi, which is not nice but interesting to see, we took a bus to Cat Ba. Travelling to Cat Ba Island means, you have to go to Hai Phong first, take the ferry from there to Cat Ba island and get of the bus where all the other travellers jump off.

Time to leave beautiful and awesome Laos for another amazing country: Vietnam. Late at night, we arrived in Hanoi via plane and took the first hotel we found.

After 7,5 hours in that small Mini Van (it IS a MINI Van) with 19 persons, we finally arrived Luang Prabang. Please enjoy the pics below and I hope for you, that you never ride in a Mini Van with 19 persons…
